Our Team — The People Behind Your Order

The first question a procurement team asks about an overseas supplier is usually the same one: who is on the other side, and who do I talk to if something goes wrong? At ArtasPack the answer is short. The partners are inside the operation, and your contact does not change between quotation, sampling and production.

Fifty-five people work here, across production, structural design, quality control and export. The four names below are the ones a buyer deals with most often.

One named contact, from the first email to the pallet

An enquiry does not disappear into a shared inbox. You are given a named sales contact who stays with your project from the first quotation through sampling, production and shipping — the same person who knows what was agreed on the phone three weeks earlier. Behind them sit the graphic engineer who draws your structure, the quality team who inspect the printed sheets, and the export team who prepare your documents.

Senior management is reachable, which is usually what matters when a schedule has to move. Both managing partners work inside the daily operation rather than above it.

Who does what on your project

Quotation and pricing

Dimensions, quantities and delivery planning are handled with the managing partners, and you have a price back within 24 hours. The same process applies whether the order starts at 1,000 pieces or runs to six figures — where it helps, we quote two or three specifications side by side so you can see what a different board, liner or closure actually costs.

Samples and production tracking

Sampling and order tracking run through a single point of contact in sales support. You correspond with the same person from printed and unprinted sample approval through to mass production, and you are welcome at the press approval in person.

Raw material, FSC® records and supply

Board sourcing, FSC® chain-of-custody records and delivery commitments sit with the supply chain directorate. Requests for material composition, grammage and component weights for your compliance file are answered here.

Structural design and artwork

The dieline, placing your design onto it and the structural decisions behind it are settled with our own engineering team. If you have no dieline yet, we draw it for you and return a free true-to-scale 3D visual of the box before anything is cut.

Production and quality control

Winding, labelling, die-cutting, assembly and inspection happen in our own plant at Hadımköy, Istanbul. Printing and specialist finishing run with partner houses under our own quality controls — you can see how that works on the production page.

Export documents and delivery

Palletising, labelling, customs paperwork and transport are handled end to end by the in-house export team, under EXW or DAP terms. Nothing about the paperwork is left to the buyer to chase.

The team in numbers

  • 55 people across production, structural design, quality control and export
  • One named contact per project, from quotation to pallet
  • 24 hours to a quotation, in your working day rather than overnight
  • Retained samples from every production batch, kept in house
  • Two years of archived quotations, specifications and artwork files
  • 6,000 m² at Hadımköy, Istanbul — 4,500 m² under roof, 20 minutes from Istanbul Airport
  • 20+ countries served, with Europe as our primary export region

How we work with your team

Most of our customers are brand owners, procurement managers and packaging designers rather than packaging specialists, so we try to remove the technical steps that slow a project down. We prepare the dieline, place your artwork on it and flag anything that will not print or fold as drawn. For compliance teams we supply material composition and grammage, component breakdown and weights, dimensions and dieline specifications, and our FSC® chain-of-custody reference. For logistics teams we confirm pallet configuration, carton counts and labelling before the goods leave.

Working hours, languages and time zone

We work Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (UTC+3). Istanbul runs one to two hours ahead of most of Europe, so a question sent first thing is usually answered before lunch rather than the following morning — over a project with several artwork rounds, that difference is measured in weeks. Business is conducted in English and Turkish.

Come and meet us in Istanbul

Our plant is twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport, which makes a visit a day trip rather than a week. Buyers are welcome with or without an order on the table: walk the floor, meet the people who will run your job and approve your sample in person. Arrange a visit.

Questions buyers ask about working with us

Who will I actually be dealing with?

A named sales contact, supported by the managing partners on pricing and delivery, the engineering team on structure and artwork, and the export team on documents. The contact does not change between quotation, sampling and production.

Can I speak to senior management?

Yes. Both managing partners work inside the daily operation, and the company is run by Ali Rıza Karaca as Managing Partner. When a schedule or a specification has to change, that access is usually what saves the week.

Which languages do you work in?

English and Turkish, for quotations, technical documents and day-to-day correspondence.

Will my brief and artwork stay confidential?

Yes. Briefs, dielines and artwork files are kept separate per customer, nothing from one project is shown to another, and we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you send anything at all.

Can I visit the plant or attend the press approval?

Yes, and buyers regularly do. Hadımköy is twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport, so you can fly in, approve the sample on site and be home the same day.

Ready to start?

Send us your brief, a dieline or the product itself — or just the dimensions, and we will draw the dieline for you. You will hear back from a specialist within 24 hours with a structure, a specification and a price. Request a quotation, read more about the company or see the brands we produce for.
