Cardboard Cylinder Boxes for Glass Cosmetic Jars and Bottles

Glass signals purity and permanence in cosmetics, and it is also the most vulnerable item in your supply chain. Serums, essential oils and cream jars travel through palletising, groupage and last mile handling before anyone opens them. ArtasPack protects those bottles with printed cardboard cylinder boxes: a shock absorbing rigid body, plus EVA foam or board beds cut to the exact profile of your container so the glass cannot move. The same pack carries your finishing, from hot foil to soft touch, and lifts shelf presence at the same time. Wound in Istanbul since 1986, in diameters from 32 mm to 195 mm, made to your bottle rather than to a catalogue.

Cylinder boxes for glass jars and bottles

Why choose a cylinder box for glass packaging?

1. Armoured protection against breakage

Glass fails from vibration and point impact, not from gentle handling. Our high density board body runs from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm wall thickness depending on product weight, which isolates the container from outside force far better than a thin folding carton.
Inside, an EVA foam, flocked foam, board or thermoformed insert is cut to your bottle profile to within a millimetre, so the glass cannot float or rattle inside the box. That single detail removes most of the transit damage risk that fills your claims inbox.

2. Circular, plastic free luxury

The cylinder is a credible alternative to plastic clamshells and PET sleeves: elegant, strong and recyclable. Our boxes are made from recyclable materials with FSC® certified paper (C184527) and water based dispersion coatings instead of plastic lamination, which keeps the pack in the paper stream at end of life. For clean beauty positioning this is a specification you can defend, and the construction is designed to meet the requirements of the EU’s PPWR across your European markets.

3. Made to your bottle, finished to your brand

Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm with height cut to your container, so one format covers 15 to 50 ml serums, moisturiser jars, eye creams, haircare, essential and CBD oils, makeup and medical cosmetics.
Finishing options through our printing partners include offset CMYK, Pantone, hot foil, embossing, debossing, spot UV and matt, gloss or soft touch lamination. Choose a telescopic lid with rolled edge for a warmer feel, or flat edge for a sharper modern line.

Our sustainability commitment

We shape production around what happens after the sale. The paper used in our cylinder boxes is sourced under FSC® chain of custody certification (C184527), our adhesives are water based, and wherever the finish allows we specify water based dispersion varnish instead of plastic lamination so the box recycles more easily. Combined with recyclable board bodies, this gives you a secondary pack that supports the environmental claims already made by the glass primary container rather than undermining them.

Frequently asked questions

No, and no packaging supplier honestly can. What we can show is that a cylinder resists vertical and lateral crush loads considerably better than a square carton, because there are no corners to fold. With CNC or laser cut EVA foam beds shaped to your bottle, the glass is fully immobilised and isolated from outside impact, which pushes transit damage well below what you would see with a standard carton and loose fill.

Minimum order quantity is 1,000 pcs per design, and every box is built around your container rather than a stock size. Diameter, height, wall thickness and insert are all specified per project. Lead time starts at 4 weeks from artwork approval. Send us the bottle drawing or a physical unit and we will confirm the internal dimensions before quoting.

The boxes on this page are secondary packaging: the product stays in its own glass jar or bottle and the box protects it. If you need direct filling, we can produce a primary packaging build with an aluminium or barrier foil inner liner. For protecting glass, a standard kraft or white paper inner surface is sufficient and the most economical option.

Yes. We supply printed and unprinted samples, so you can drop test with your own filled bottle and check insert clearance before you commit to tooling. We also provide the die-line template for your chosen diameter and height and help you place artwork on it, so bleed, seam overlap and lid wrap are correct at the first proof rather than the third.
