Cardboard Tube Packaging for Food Supplements and Vitamins
In the nutraceutical aisle your packaging is the first physical contact a buyer has with your brand. ArtasPack has been making custom printed cardboard tubes and cylinder boxes since 1986, for capsules, gummies, protein and collagen powders, and liquid supplement bottles. The cylindrical form gives you one continuous print surface with no corners to break the artwork, and the wound board wall shields glass bottles and jars from impact, light and moisture. Specify a food-contact liner for direct filling of powders, or an EVA foam insert that locks a bottle in place as secondary packaging. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm, minimum order is 1,000 pcs and lead time starts at 4 weeks.

Why supplement brands move to cylinder boxes
1. Protection that survives e-commerce
Supplement formulations are sensitive to crushing, light and moisture. Our tubes are spirally wound from multi-ply board with a wall thickness of 1.0 mm to 2.5 mm, so they keep their shape under pallet stacking and parcel handling where a folding carton collapses. Die-cut EVA or EPE foam inserts hold glass bottles and dropper vials in position and absorb vibration in transit.
The opaque wall keeps light off photosensitive actives such as vitamin C, B12 and omega 3, and an optional aluminium foil liner adds a moisture and oxygen barrier for powders and effervescent formats.

2. A 360 degree brand surface
A cylinder has no corners, so your artwork runs as one uninterrupted band around the pack and the eye keeps moving across it. Hot foil stamping in gold, silver or copper, embossing and debossing, spot UV and soft touch lamination turn a logo into something a buyer feels as well as sees. Kraft, linen textured and uncoated papers are all available through our printing partners.
Telescopic lids are made to a controlled friction fit, so the lid glides open slowly instead of pulling free. That is the moment customers film and post.
3. Built around what you fill
Send us the bottle, jar or sachet and we build the pack around it. Inside diameters from 32 mm to 195 mm with free height selection let you match a 60 count capsule jar or a 500 g powder canister without wasted headspace or a rattling fit. Lid options include all paper rolled edge lids, metal lids in gold, silver or black, easy open ends and shaker lids for powders.
Winding, labelling, die-cutting and assembly are done in house at our 6,000 m2 plant in Hadimkoy, Istanbul, which keeps tolerances consistent across reorders.
Responsible Packaging for What Comes Next
Buyers who care about what goes into their body increasingly care about what the packaging leaves behind. Paper-based cylinder packaging lets your “natural” and “clean” positioning carry through to the box it arrives in.
* FSC® certified paperboard: the board we use is sourced under our FSC® chain of custody, licence code C184527, which documents responsible forest management. It is a claim your sustainability team can evidence rather than assert.
* Plastic-free constructions: unlike blister packs or shrink-wrapped cartons, our tubes are paper-based throughout, and in our fully plastic-free builds the lid and base are paperboard too. That makes a plastic-reduction commitment visible on the shelf.
* Recycling-friendly by design: a predominantly mono-material paper construction goes into the established paper recycling stream. Where a specification calls for particular inks, coatings or barrier layers, we will tell you up front how that choice affects recyclability.
A 360-Degree Brand Surface on Shelf
The cylindrical form gives your brand an uninterrupted 360-degree canvas. With no corners to break the design, the eye travels around the pack rather than stopping at an edge. The finishing options that reinforce a premium read:
* Premium finishes: hot foil stamping in gold, silver or copper, embossing and debossing, and spot UV — turning your logo and key messages into something the hand notices as well as the eye.
* Textured and specialty papers: kraft, linen-textured and soft-touch laminated surfaces invite the shopper to pick the product up, which is often the moment a purchase decision is made.
* Telescopic construction: a telescopic lid produced to a precise friction fit turns opening the pack into a small ritual — the lid glides down slowly and under control on the cushion of air beneath it.
Materials, certification and production
Our board is FSC® certified under licence code C184527, so the paper in your pack is traceable to responsibly managed forests. A paper based cylinder replaces plastic blisters and shrink sleeves, and the body separates cleanly from a metal lid at end of life. Production offcuts are collected and returned to pulp.
Water based inks and solvent free adhesives are specified wherever the print method allows, and food-contact liners are used when powder sits directly against the wall. The range is designed to meet the requirements of the EU’s PPWR, which matters if you sell into the single market.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our minimum order quantity is 1,000 pcs per printed design. That applies to a custom diameter, height and print, including the foam insert if your project needs one. Lead time starts at 4 weeks from approved artwork and an approved mock-up, and repeat orders of the same specification run faster because the tooling already exists. Tell us your annual volume when you send the RFQ and we will price the run size that suits your launch plan.
Yes. We die-cut EVA and high density EPE foam seats to the exact diameter and shape of your bottle, jar or dropper vial, so the product is locked in the tube and cannot move in transit. Velvet covered foam is available where the unboxing matters. If you want an all paper solution, we also produce die-cut cardboard separators that hold a bottle just as securely and keep the pack fully recyclable.
Yes, when the tube is built with a food-contact liner. For protein powder, collagen, matcha, greens and sports drink mixes we line the inner wall with aluminium foil or a PE barrier liner that carries food-contact documentation, which protects the fill from moisture, oxygen and odour pick up. Where the tube is used as secondary packaging around a sealed bottle, jar or sachet, a standard white or kraft inner surface is sufficient.
Yes. We send you the die-line template for your chosen diameter and height, and our team places your artwork on it and checks the seam, the lid overlap and the bleed before anything goes to print. Printed and unprinted samples are available, so you can judge board feel, foil and lamination in your hand. On request we produce a pre-production mock-up of your own design for sign off, and we only start the run once you approve it.
