Composite Cardboard Tubes
A composite can pairs a paperboard body with a metal or plastic closure and, where needed, a foil barrier inside. It gives you the look and recyclability of board together with the seal of a can-type closure. If your product takes on moisture, loses aroma, is oily, or needs to be opened and closed again, this is the family to look at. Coffee, tea, spices, powdered drinks, supplements and nuts are what we build in this construction most often.
Four constructions
Metal-lid cylinder can — ring-pull opening and a sense of security on first open; the standard for coffee and tea. Peel-off foil-lidded can — a foil seal that peels away, a single-use freshness guarantee. Plastic-lid cylinder can — recloses again and again, for products used daily. Cardboard salt and spice shaker — a sifter lid, for products that live on the kitchen shelf. Inner barrier options cover aluminium and grease/moisture barriers. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm, built to your product. Minimum order 1,000 units, lead time from 4 weeks after print approval.
