Custom Cylinder Boxes for Cream and Lotion Jars

A skincare ritual starts the moment the box opens. Our cylinder boxes give cream jars, lotion bottles and airless dispensers a secondary pack that survives transit and stands apart on shelf. Every tube is spiral wound at our factory in Hadimkoy, Istanbul, from high density board, then finished with the effects premium beauty buyers expect: hot foil, embossing, soft-touch lamination. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm and heights are cut to your container, so the pack follows the form of the jar instead of forcing it into a square carton. Fitted inserts hold the glass still. Minimum order is 1,000 pieces, lead time from 4 weeks. ArtasPack has been winding paper tubes since 1986.

Cream and lotion boxes

Why a cylinder box for cream and lotion

1. Armour for fragile glass

Glass jars and airless bottles take a beating in e-commerce shipping. A cylinder spreads external pressure evenly around its wall instead of concentrating it in four corners, so it resists crushing better than a folding carton of the same weight. Our bodies are wound from high density board at 1.5 mm to 3 mm wall thickness, which holds up to vertical stacking and lateral impact alike. Inside, a flock covered EVA insert or a plain board collar locks the jar in position so it cannot rattle or rotate. Fewer breakages in transit, fewer returns to process.

2. Sustainable luxury you can document

Premium skincare is moving towards sustainable luxury, and buyers now audit the pack as closely as the formula. Our cylinder boxes are made from recyclable paper board and are available on FSC certified paper, licence code C184527. In place of plastic lamination we can specify water based dispersion coatings and biodegradable adhesives, which keeps the pack in the paper recycling stream at end of life. Body, base and telescopic lid can all be delivered as paper only components, and the construction is designed to meet the requirements of the EU PPWR.

3. Sizes, finishes and constructions

Nothing here is off the shelf. Diameters run 32 mm to 195 mm, with height cut to your container, from a 15 ml eye cream to a 1,000 ml body lotion. Printing and finishing are handled by our printing partners: CMYK offset, hot foil stamping in gold, silver or copper, embossing and debossing to lift the logo, soft-touch lamination and spot UV. Constructions include telescopic lid, rolled edge for automated lines and neck or shoulder styles. Winding, labelling, die-cutting and assembly are done in house.

Sustainability and quality standards

Our paper comes from FSC certified sources under licence code C184527, and we can supply the chain of custody documentation your compliance team asks for. Cylinder boxes are secondary packaging, so they never touch the formula, but we still control what goes into them: water based coatings, recyclable adhesives and finishes agreed with our printing partners. Production runs on energy efficient winding lines at our 6,000 m2 factory in Hadimkoy, Istanbul, twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport, with board waste returned to recycling. Packs are designed to meet the requirements of the EU PPWR.

Frequently Asked Questions

The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces per size and design. That applies to custom printed tubes in your own diameter, height and finish. Lead time is from 4 weeks after artwork approval, a little longer when hot foil tooling or a new die-line is involved. Repeat orders to the same specification move faster because the tooling already exists. Tell us the annual volume you are planning and we will quote the run sizes that make sense for it.

Yes. We supply both printed and unprinted samples, and we issue the die-line, the cutting template your designer needs. Send us the exact dimensions of the jar or bottle including the closure and we will size the internal diameter and height around it, place your artwork on the template and return it for approval. A physical mock-up lets you check the print result and the fit of the container before mass production starts.

Yes. Inserts are cut to the profile of your jar so it cannot move inside the box. For the luxury segment we use flock covered EVA foam; for brands working to a paper only brief we design printed or plain board collars and platforms that keep the whole pack recyclable. Either option stops the jar rotating or sliding in transit and gives a more considered opening experience at the point of unboxing.

Our cylinder boxes are secondary packaging, so creams and lotions stay in their own jar or bottle and never touch the board. Where a product does need direct contact, for example bath salts, powder masks, solid shampoo or soap bars, we line the inside of the tube with food grade aluminium foil or a PE laminate to add a barrier. Send us the formula and the fill temperature and we will specify the right liner.
