Cylinder Boxes with Metal Ends for Craft and Boutique Spirits
Craft distillers sell a story in a heavy bottle, and the secondary pack has to carry both. ArtasPack manufactures custom cylinder boxes and cardboard tubes with metal ends for gin, vodka, aged and barrel finished spirits, liqueurs and regional specialities such as raki. A seamed metal base takes the load of a full 70 cl or 100 cl bottle, so the body cannot open at the bottom in transit, while the spiral wound kraft wall cushions impact and the metal rims hold the box in shape under stacking pressure. Bodies are available in FSC certified board, with metal caps in gold, silver, black or copper matched to your label. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm.

Why a metal ended cylinder box for spirits?
1. A base that will not let go
Spirits bottles are heavy and thick walled, and the weakest point of any tube pack is the bottom. Our metal ends are seamed or tightly fitted to the body, which removes the risk of the bottle pushing through the base in handling. The spiral wound kraft wall works as a cushion against side impact, and the metal rims keep the cylinder in shape under vertical stacking load in a pallet or a parcel network. The result is a lower damage rate on export routes and fewer credit notes at the far end.
2. Recyclable prestige
Paper and metal are a good pairing on the shelf and an easy one at end of life. The board body and the metal ends separate by hand and both go into established recycling streams, with no mixed plastic laminate to explain to a compliance team. FSC certified paper (C184527) is available on request, and board fitments replace plastic separators inside the pack. The construction is designed to meet the requirements of the EU’s PPWR, so a pack developed now still works for your next listing.
3. Made for limited and special editions
A special edition, a cask finish or a small batch release earns a pack that does not look like the core range. Metal caps come in gold, silver, black or copper, matched to the bottle label, and the body carries hot foil stamping, embossing, spot UV or metallised paper for a deep reflective effect. The contrast between a matt board surface and a bright metal rim is what moves a bottle from the spirits shelf into the gifting category. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm, heights cut to your bottle.
Materials, certification and quality
ArtasPack has made cardboard tubes and cylinder boxes in Hadımköy, Istanbul since 1986, in a 6,000 m² plant twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport. Winding, labelling, die cutting and assembly are in house; printing and finishing of printed paper run through our printing partners. FSC® certified paper (C184527) is available under chain of custody. Metal ends use corrosion resistant, food grade lacquered stock, and adhesives are selected to be odour neutral so the aniseed, juniper or oak character of the spirit is not affected in storage.

Frequently asked questions
The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces per design and size. Lead time is from four weeks after artwork and sample approval. That figure works for a limited release as well as for an industrial filling line, and repeat editions on the same diameter reuse the existing tooling.
Yes. A metal bottom is the safest option for heavy glass. It is fixed to the body by seaming or by a tight press fit, so the base cannot open under the weight of the bottle. We size the internal diameter so the bottle does not move laterally, and add board or foam fitments where a bottle is narrow at the shoulder.
We tool for the common 35 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl and 100 cl spirits formats, and for wide bodied carafe style bottles that have become popular in craft releases. Diameters are available from 32 mm to 195 mm with heights cut to your bottle, to millimetre tolerances that stop the bottle rattling inside the box.
It starts with the metal cap colour, then we send you the die line for your bottle and help your designers place the artwork on it. Once the design is applied we make a physical sample, printed or unprinted, so you can judge print quality and how the metal end sits. A 3D digital sample can be used for faster pre approval before production.
