Custom Luxury Perfume Boxes: Premium Cylinder Packaging
In luxury perfume the first contact happens before anyone smells anything. A cardboard tube gives your bottle a sculptural presence a folding carton cannot match, and the way the lid lifts tells the buyer that something engineered is inside. The cylinder also hands you 360 degrees of uninterrupted print, so the artwork reads from every angle on shelf and in unboxing content. ArtasPack has been winding cylinder boxes in Istanbul since 1986, in diameters from 32 mm to 195 mm, with die-cut foam or board inserts that hold each bottle dead centre through transit. Whether your design is minimalist or maximalist, the format carries the story.

Why choose a cylinder box for perfume?
1. Structural strength and bottle protection
Perfume bottles are heavy, valuable and breakable, and most damage happens in transit. Our cylinder boxes are wound from rigid board with a 2 mm to 2.5 mm wall, so impact energy travels around the curve instead of concentrating on a corner.
Inside, a die-cut insert in EVA foam, flocked foam, thermoformed vacuum tray or high density board locks the bottle in the centre and stops it moving. Brands that switch from square cartons to cylinders consistently report fewer breakage claims on the same shipping lane.
2. Eco-luxury materials
Sustainability does not have to cost you shelf presence. The body is wound from recycled greyboard and wrapped in FSC® certified paper (C184527). Printing can be specified with soy based inks, which hold colour strongly and release fewer VOCs than petroleum inks, while cellulose based matt or gloss coatings replace plastic film and keep the surface water resistant. The finished box is designed to meet the requirements of the EU’s PPWR and still feels expensive in the hand.
3. Finishes and edge styles
Detail is what separates a niche launch from a mass market line. Through our printing partners you can specify offset CMYK, Pantone spot colours, hot foil in gold, silver or copper, embossing, debossing, spot UV and soft touch lamination.
Two edge styles are available. Rolled edge curls the paper inward for a softer look at a lower unit cost. Flat edge keeps the sharp architectural line favoured by modern niche houses and needs more hand finishing. We supply the die-line and help you position artwork on it.
Our sustainability commitment
The future of luxury packaging is decided by what it leaves behind. Paper for our cylinder boxes comes from responsibly managed forests under FSC® chain of custody (C184527), and we prioritise the options that lower the footprint of each run: recycled board bodies, water based adhesives and soy based inks that release far less solvent during printing. Where the specification allows, dispersion coating replaces plastic lamination so the box separates and recycles more easily at end of life.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The dual wall construction and high density board resist vertical crushing far better than a folding carton of comparable weight, because a cylinder has no corners to collapse. Combined with an EVA foam bed cut to the profile of your bottle, the pack absorbs the vibration and drop shocks of parcel shipping rather than passing them to the glass. Customers moving from rectangular boxes to cylinders regularly report a significant fall in breakage.
Minimum order quantity is 1,000 pcs per design. Lead time runs from 4 weeks once artwork is approved, and varies with quantity, finishing complexity and production load. Tell us your bottle dimensions, target quantity and launch date and we will confirm both in the quotation.
Rolled edge curls the paper inward over the rim, giving a softer, rounder feel. It suits automated assembly and is the more economical option. Flat edge leaves the tube cut square with no rolling, producing a sharp, modern, architectural line that niche fragrance brands often prefer. Flat edge requires more hand finishing, so unit cost is slightly higher.
Yes. We supply printed and unprinted samples so you can test bottle fit and insert clearance with your own filled bottle before committing. We also send the die-line template for your diameter and height, and our team helps place your artwork on it so bleed, overlap seam and lid wrap land correctly on the first proof.
