Take the plastic out of the stick without giving up the ritual. Our push-up paper tubes are built for deodorant sticks, solid perfumes, sunscreen sticks and body balms, with an engineered oil resistant liner and print quality that holds its own next to injection moulded packs. The consumer pushes the disc at the base with a thumb and the product rises, the same familiar action, in a pack made from paper rather than a twist-up plastic mechanism. Reinforced walls up to 2.5 mm protect the stick against heat, humidity and transit impact. FSC board, minimum order 1,000 pieces, lead time from 4 weeks, produced in Istanbul by ArtasPack since 1986.

1. No staining, no leaking
Grease staining is the reason most brands hesitate to move a stick formula into paper. We solve it at the liner. Depending on your formula, viscosity and fill temperature we specify a plant based wax, a biopolymer PLA or a PE lamination on the inside wall, which keeps shea, coconut and other volatile oils from migrating to the printed surface. Reinforced wall thickness up to 2.5 mm then protects the stick against temperature swings, humidity and the physical knocks of distribution, so what leaves your filling line is what reaches the shelf.
2. A plastic free future starts with the mechanism
Twist-up plastic mechanisms are among the hardest packaging components to recycle and a recognised source of microplastic pollution. Our push-up system replaces the whole mechanism with a paper disc and a wound paper body, so the pack stays recyclable and biodegradable rather than becoming a multi-material problem at end of life. The board is available FSC certified under licence code C184527, which lowers the reported footprint of your pack and gives eco-conscious buyers something verifiable. The construction is designed to meet the requirements of the EU PPWR.
3. Design freedom and premium finishes
The cylinder is a continuous canvas with no corners to interrupt the artwork. Through our printing partners you can specify matt or gloss lamination, soft-touch coating, hot foil stamping and spot UV, with offset printing holding your Pantone references consistently across reorders. The rolled edge cap gives the pack a premium feel and a secure open and close action. Diameters run from 32 mm to 195 mm, with the height set to your fill weight. Winding, labelling, die-cutting and assembly all happen in our own factory.

Our paper is sourced under FSC certification, licence code C184527, documenting responsible forest management, and we can pass the chain of custody paperwork to your compliance team. Manufacturing runs on energy efficient winding lines in our 6,000 m2 factory at Hadımköy, Istanbul, twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport, with board waste separated and returned to recycling. Packs are designed to meet the requirements of the EU PPWR, so a brand switching from plastic sticks can show a substitution that stands up in a sustainability report rather than only in a campaign.

No, provided the liner is matched to the formula. For oil based products such as deodorant sticks we apply an oil resistant barrier to the inside wall of the tube, choosing between wax, PLA and PE according to your formula, viscosity and fill temperature. We recommend running your own formula in a mock-up before production so the barrier is validated against your actual recipe and storage conditions rather than a generic specification.
Yes, our push-up tubes are suitable for hot filling, with the limit set by the liner. For wax and PLA liners the recommended maximum fill temperature is 60 to 65 degrees Celsius. For formulas that need 70 degrees or more we recommend the PE laminated version. After filling, cool the product gradually at ambient temperature or in a cooling tunnel so the stick sets evenly and the liner is not stressed.
The minimum order quantity is 1,000 pieces for bespoke tubes, meaning full colour print, custom diameter and height, and finishes such as hot foil. Lead time is from 4 weeks after artwork approval. Repeat orders to the same specification are quicker because the tooling exists. We ship within Turkey and export worldwide, and we can quote delivered prices to your filling site.
Yes. We supply printed and unprinted samples so you can test fit, push-up action and barrier performance with your own formula. We also issue the die-line, the cutting template your designer works on, and we can place your artwork on it for you. The push-up disc itself is produced to a controlled friction fit, so it lifts easily under thumb pressure but will not drop back during use.
