About ArtasPack — Cardboard Tube Manufacturer Since 1986

ArtasPack has been manufacturing cylinder cardboard tubes and boxes since 1986. From our facility in Hadımköy, Istanbul, we produce cylinder packaging in a inner diameter range of 32 mm to 195 mm, with capacity reaching 40,000 units per day. Today we ship packaging to brands in more than 20 countries.

ArtasPack factory in Hadımköy, Istanbul

Our work is focused on one thing: Paper Tube Manufacturer. We do not make square, rectangular or magnetic-lid rigid boxes; all of our engineering and production capability goes into the cylindrical form and the luxury rigid cylinder box. That focus is what shows up in the details, from diameter tolerance to how tightly a lid sits.

Ali Rıza Karaca – Managing Partner, ArtasPack

Our production site covers 6,000 m² in total, 4,500 m² of it enclosed, twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport (IST). That proximity is why both samples and shipments move quickly.

We built the line on a vertical integration model: winding, labelling, die-cutting and assembly are done in house, while printing and post-press work such as lamination, foil stamping and embossing are carried out with specialist partners we have worked with for years. We say which step happens where up front, because for a buyer auditing their supply chain that information is itself a mark of quality.

Some of our machinery is designed by our own engineers. That R&D work is also why we can answer non-standard diameter and height requests without putting a tooling cost in front of you.

We produce across a wide range — cosmetics and personal care, supplements, coffee and tea, olive oil, wine and whisky boxes, gifting and confectionery packaging, promotional sets. The supply chain for the paperboard we use falls under our FSC®-C184527 chain-of-custody certification, and a significant share of our raw material input comes from recycled paper.

Our minimum order quantity is 1,000 units. Production starts from 3 weeks* after print approval and door-to-door delivery from 4 weeks*. Before mass production you sign off both the structure and the design from printed and unprinted samples.

* Lead times vary with order quantity and technical specification.

FSC® chain of custody. Chain of custody traces paper fibre from a responsibly managed forest through every stage that follows — processing, conversion, manufacturing and distribution — so the board in your packaging can be verified back to its source.

ArtasPack is an FSC® certified cylinder cardboard packaging manufacturer and holds the certificate in its own name. See our accreditations.

Our journey since 1986

ArtasPack did not begin as a packaging company. It began as a printing company, and the move into cylinder packaging came sixteen years later — which is why print quality is treated here as a first-order concern rather than a finishing step.

  • 1986 — entered the offset printing industry
  • 1992 — established our first printing plant
  • 1998 — initiated our first exports
  • 2002 — founded our cardboard tube factory and moved into cylinder packaging
  • 2006 — shipped our first cylinder packaging export order
  • 2015 — opened our 6,000 m² production facility in Istanbul
  • 2020 — launched our plastic-free and kraft eco-friendly range
  • 2024 — reached customers in more than 20 countries

Why brands work with us

Four to six weeks faster than China and the Far East

Measure from your first email, not from the factory gate. A quotation the same working day. A sample question settled in a phone call rather than an overnight email round. Seven days of transit** instead of the five to six weeks a container spends at sea. On comparable projects, that is four to six weeks back in your hands.

On Europe’s doorstep

Our plant sits twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport. You can fly in, walk the floor, sign off your sample in person and be home the same day — and your order travels by truck to your door under EXW or DAP terms, not as a container booking.

A time zone that works with yours

Istanbul runs one to two hours ahead of most of Europe. A question sent at nine is answered before lunch, not overnight, so artwork rounds and approvals take a day rather than a week.

One point of accountability

Winding, labelling, die-cutting and assembly happen in our own plant; printing and specialist finishing run with partner houses under our own quality controls. Whatever the mix, you have one contact, one schedule and one invoice.

In-house R&D and a large tooling library

Our engineering team develops structures, tooling and inserts for briefs that do not yet have a standard, and some of our machinery is designed by our own engineers. We also hold a large library of existing dies across cylinder types, so standard sizes carry no new tooling cost.

Recyclable by design

Paper-based construction, recycled fibre and FSC®-certified sourcing, designed to meet the requirements of the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). Ready for tightening rules rather than exposed to them.

A print network, not a single press

A cylinder looks like a simple shape, which is exactly why precision decides the result: balanced wall thickness, a smooth seam, the gentle glide of a lid, crisp embossing.

Winding, labelling, die-cutting, assembly and quality control happen in our own plant. Printing and specialist post-press we place with established partner houses we have worked with for years, and that is deliberate. A manufacturer with one press in the corner can only offer you what that press does. We match each project to the right house and the right technique, so offset, digital and specialist finishes all arrive under a single quotation, a single schedule and a single point of accountability. Every printed sheet passes our own incoming inspection before it reaches the winder. You can see the production side of the business here.

From brief to pallet in six steps

  1. Brief and enquiry. Send dimensions, volumes and artwork — or just the product itself. We respond within 24 hours.
  2. Structural design. Our R&D team specifies the construction, board and closure and returns a dieline with a quotation, plus a free true-to-scale 3D visual of your box before anything is cut.
  3. Prototype and approval. A physical sample, printed or unprinted, is produced for approval. You are welcome to attend the press approval or sign the sample off in person.
  4. Production. Printing, winding, die-cutting and finishing all run under our own quality controls.
  5. Quality control. Dimensional, print and closure checks throughout the run, with retained samples for every batch. Every quotation, specification and artwork file is archived for at least two years, so a repeat order starts where you left off rather than from scratch.
  6. Export and delivery. Palletised, documented and shipped EXW or DAP to your door, in custom-size cartons with your own pallet and carton labelling. Our export team handles the customs paperwork end to end.

Nothing we make is a stock item: diameter, height, wall thickness, closure, print and finish are specified per order. Send us a product sample or a dieline and our R&D team will come back with a structure and a prototype — and if you have no dieline yet, we draw it for you and place your design on it.

Built to be recycled, not just to look green

Choosing environmentally responsible packaging is not a marketing exercise for us — it is the material we have always worked in. Our products are paper-based and near-100% recyclable, we prioritise recycled fibre in our raw material sourcing, and our plastic-free range removes polymer components entirely: body, lid and closure are all paper. As the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation tightens, that is a commercial advantage as much as an environmental one.

We can supply what your compliance team needs for a technical file: material composition and grammage, component breakdown and weights, dimensions and dieline specifications, and our FSC® chain-of-custody reference.

Our vision and mission

We want recyclable, paper-based packaging to become the standard alternative to plastic. We treat that as a production decision rather than a slogan: we keep growing the box families that carry no plastic component, and we work with customers to simplify coating and component choices that would otherwise complicate recycling.

Our mission is to make the packaging side of your job easier — designing a box that fits your product, supplying the dieline template and the material data, and, if you sell into Europe, building a structure that takes the PPWR requirements into account.

Our values

Environmental responsibility. We produce with recyclable raw materials and lead with the box families that can be built entirely plastic-free. The source of our board is traceable under FSC® chain of custody.

Innovation. Some of our machines are designed by our own engineers, which is what lets us answer non-standard requests without a tooling cost.

Transparency. We tell you which work we do ourselves, which we run with partners, and which certifications we do and do not hold. For a buyer auditing a supply chain, that is the most valuable thing we can offer.

Continuity. We have been doing the same work since 1986. For brands looking for a long-term supplier relationship, that is a reference in itself.

Who you will be dealing with

Fifty-five people work at ArtasPack, and an enquiry does not disappear into a shared inbox. You deal with a named sales contact who stays with your project from the first quotation to the pallet, with the graphic engineer who draws your structure and the export team who prepares your documents behind them. The company is run by its Managing Partner, Ali Rıza Karaca, and senior management is reachable — which is usually what makes the difference when a schedule has to move. Meet the team.

Come and see the plant

Our 6,000 m² site — 4,500 m² under roof — is at Hadımköy, Istanbul, with on-site truck loading and twenty minutes between the gate and Istanbul Airport (IST). Close enough to fly in, walk the floor, sign off your sample in person and be home the same day. Buyers are welcome, with or without an order on the table. Arrange a visit.

Questions buyers ask about our company

Where is ArtasPack based, and where do you produce?

Everything is produced at our own site at Hadımköy, Istanbul, Türkiye — 6,000 m² in total with 4,500 m² under roof, twenty minutes from Istanbul Airport. We do not subcontract tube production.

Which certification does ArtasPack hold?

ArtasPack is an FSC® certified cylinder cardboard packaging manufacturer, licence code FSC®-C184527, held in our own name. We can also supply material composition, grammage, component weights and dieline specifications for your technical file and EPR reporting.

Which countries do you export to?

More than twenty, with Europe as our primary export region — the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Greece and the Netherlands among them, as well as the United States. EU shipments move under the EU–Türkiye Customs Union, while the United Kingdom runs on the separate Türkiye–UK free trade agreement; duty treatment depends on correct origin documentation, which our export team prepares.

What is your minimum order and how long does production take?

1,000 pieces. You have a quotation within 24 hours, production starts from 3 weeks* and door-to-door delivery from 4 weeks*. More answers in our FAQ.

Do you make square or magnetic-lid rigid boxes?

No. We build cylinders — including luxury rigid cylinder boxes — and all of our engineering goes into that form. If your brief is a square rigid box, we will tell you so on the first call rather than after the artwork.

Ready to start?

Send us your brief, a dieline or the product itself — or just the dimensions, and we will draw the dieline for you. You will hear back from a specialist within 24 hours with a structure, a specification and a price. Request a quotation or browse the product families.
